Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress, born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of 5, she emigrated from Morocco to California. The actress got her first big break acting after graduating from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a small part on NCIS and Leverage. She then landed the part of Marisa on The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap opera she was offered an appearance as Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The romance started after Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in November of 2018. News broke on May 20, 2021, the couple Pernas and Hartley recently tied the knot at a private wedding.
